March 23rd, 2022 – COVID Update

As you may already be aware, the Province has introduced Phase III of its COVID response, with changes to the mask mandate and gathering limits for the public. 

It is important to note these changes do not apply to healthcare and emergency health services responders. All healthcare professionals will continue to adopt a high degree of infection control procedures to ensure clinicians, responders and patients remain safe and limit the spread of COVID.  

All EHS MFR’s in clinical settings are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE); this includes wearing masks and full-face shields or goggles during assessments or treatment at emergency scenes.
